The innovators program gives generous philanthropists a unique opportunity to both have a say in where their donation lands as well as experience firsthand the potential fruits of their contribution.  The participating philanthropists are referred to as innovators. An Innovator is granted the opportunity to hear from, talk with and work with selected MDs and medical researchers as they endeavor to receive a sole grant from the innovators to put towards a new and innovative venture of their own in the field of Children’s Medicine.  

 

After conversing with the nominees for the grant and experiencing their proposed technology or strategy in a myriad of ways, the Innovators individually vote for the project which they see as most valuable.  The nominated medical professional with the greatest number of votes receives the grant for their cause.
